Publishing

The publishing process has changed enormously in the last few years and many siren voices have announced the demise of the book. We don't believe them. Of course the book trade always needs something new - as indeed do all commercial enterprises - but in our opinion books are here to stay. Even in the days of iPhones, iPads, Kindles and Sony Readers there is still great satisfaction in taking a book off a shelf, opening it and settling down to read.
 

Like all publishers, however small, we did research on ebooks and one of the comments was: "The E-book market is cool, but it still has long way to go."
 

Another was "(it is) frustrating not having a physical manifestation of what you have purchased..."
 

Nevertheless we shall soon be offering ebooks; you will be able to buy them from this site (go to Shop) or from a number of outlets. But we don’t think they will ever truly take over from printed books.
