Didier Lehénaff is aggregated professor in physical education. He has devoted all his time to triathlon in the last 20 years: triathlete and coach until the early nineties, race director of major international events such as the Paris-Bercy indoors triathlon and the Nice Long Distance triathlon world championships, President of the European Triathlon Union between 1995 and 2002, he has also conducted considerable research into the physiology and biomechanics of triathlon at France’s National Institute of Sports (INSEP). He has written or edited numerous articles and books on triathlon.
