He finished with a Test batting average of 99.94 more than 30 runs per innings ahead of the rest as Australia dominated world cricket in the ’30s and ’40s.

But this Bradman book is different from all the others. There are 240 pages of the paintings of him by Brian Clinton that hang in Bradman’s official museum at Bowral, his home ground.

The text is by Museum Director Richard Mulvaney with a foreword by Richie Benaud, the former Australian captain and master commentator.
