Lynn McConnell

Lynn McConnell is an award-winning New Zealand-based writer and editor with extensive newspaper experience mainly with The Southland Times (Invercargill) and Evening Post (Wellington). He now lives in Auckland where he is senior editor of Sportal NZ. He was previously NZ editor of Conquerors of Time is his sixteenth book. He has written autobiographies with All Black Mils Muliaina, Test cricketer Ewen Chatfield and rugby-cricket double international Brian McKechnie. He compiled the Cricket Encyclopedia of New Zealand and wrote the story of New Zealand’s first 50 Test cricket victories, The First 50. His book on the world famous bayonet charge at Galatas during the Battle for Crete, Galatas 1941: Courage in Vain, won critical acclaim.
