Ian Hewitt
Ian Hewitt is a lawyer and a sports enthusiast and was involved professionally in the formation of the FA Premier League. A former Hampshire county tennis player, he sits on the committee of management of the Wimbledon Championships. He remains a life-long, if hopeful, supporter of Southampton FC. He enjoys playing golf when time permits, ever seeking some glimpse of improvement.
His sporting heroes include Seve Ballesteros, Roger Federer and Matt Le Tissier.
After ceasing a full-time legal practice in the City, he took a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sports Law. He is a member of the British Association for Sport and Law.
He lives in London.
